So I'm talking to somebody and it's friendly-but-heated, as conversations get (no hard feelings, though, right?) and every time they edit, it shows up in my inbox as a new notification.

Which is fine. I edit my comments all the freaking time! Editing is great!

But I don't want all those notifications. It doesn't look like there's an option for "send edit notifications if and only if I've already read or replied to the comment since the last edit", but before I ask for that feature, I thought I'd check and see if maybe it's just hidden in some bizarre, unintuitive spot.

If you put this into Suggestions (the community) I'd actually vote against it because our journals are not tracked by Dreamwidth, but in order for this to work, they would have to be.

Also, I click on already-visited page links and comment links all the time without re-reading (I have these really involved browsing sessions with dozens of tabs open and tabs I keep cycling back through to find things, so there are some that though I've gone back, I won't actually read; I more just glance at them) so for me the entire premise would not be ideal.
