I'm already registered for next term (FUCK!) but I can go anywhere after that. Possibly Belgium. Does anybody know of a French-language immersion program in Belgium? Or Flemish, I'm not too picky.

Assuming I stay in the English-speaking world, I just need to be someplace with a good foreign language and/or linguistics program. Any suggestions? Anyone?

Speaking of the government and Bush and bullshit, my dad is trying to convince my mom not to let me come visit. You know why? He said "There's going to be another strike there Katy. They hate us, you know. The radical Islamics." and he went on to mention the ways we should erradicate the Shiites.(sp?) Mmm... Hitlery goodness...

Would something Dutch be an acceptable alternative? I could help a bit with searching then if you wish ;)

And for your information.. Flemish is actually a dialect of Dutch, so that wouldn't be a large difference. And the Netherlands are better than Belgium anyway - in my opinion of course ;)

I don't have relatives in the Netherlands, though, I have relatives in Belgium. In fact, it really needs to be a French immersion because all my cousins are Walloon. The only reason Flemish is an option at all is because they're right near Flanders, without actually being there.
