Things I learned today:

Moonpie really, really likes duck feet. Like, whoa. I came home with one in my bag as a treat, and she ignored me, dove into the bag, pulled it out, ran upstairs, and devoured it within five minutes.

Google says those things are edible. I sure hope so.

Pickled chicken feet are supposedly a delicacy in Thailand (for humans, mind you!), so I'd assume that duck feet are no worse.
This does beg the question, though: If you didn't know the duck foot was edible, why did you bring it home in the first place?

Well, it was in the chewy section. I thought they just, you know... gnawed at it for a while.

Aaah, OK. I dunno, most chewy things end up shredded and then eaten, I suspect. I guess Moonpie didn't have the patience for shredding?

She just chomped it down! I had thought it would last longer than what she's been using, but google says nah. Well, we live and we learn. At least I've found a good treat for her - but it does have to be a treat. Chihuahuas only need about 120 calories a day, so most of those calories really need to be highly nutritious.
