Why the hell would they do a thing like that?

First AOL blocks remote loading to LiveJournal, now this?

It's a website for journals, for God's sake. I mean...most of it is nothing more than, "Hey waz up muh p33ps!"

Because they're a repressive government? I don't know. All I know is I've seen this question and answer about 4 times on the support board already.

Because a South Korean execution video hit the internet recently (it was available at Ogrish.com, don't know if it still is) and they are blocking LJ and many other sites where posters have referenced the video.
