Looks like silver_chipmunk (or their ISP) has gone with the times.
IPv6 is supposed to be the future... unfortunately, for many people, it's been the future for quite a number of years now and still doesn't seem to have reached a sizeable proportion of users.
Yes, you probably haven't -- I haven't been around much.
An old LJ acquaintance of mine announced elsewhere a while back that she would be taking up journalling again, on Dreamwidth, which reminded me of here. I'm not sure yet whether I'll get back into the habit again but I do miss it sometimes.
Stella and Amy moved out three weeks ago and we're working towards a divorce. Job is still the same, programming; currently sole Java developer on a big old codebase, which is tricky as I don't know it well and have few people to ask so it's a lot of looking into other people's code.
How are you?
Also, I can't believe Ana is in high school. She's six, isn't she? :)
I'm sorry about the divorce, but sometimes things don't work out.
As for me, well... we got a new dog. Then we got another new dog, accidentally. My grandmother died this summer, and a week later my mother found out she had breast cancer, but the prognosis is excellent. (Our schoolwork, however, is just a tad bit behind where I'd like. Going to chemo with my mom did a number on that.) I, too, am stunned and amazed at how old the girls are and keep expecting them to be little.
