Eva is now wearing her dog in a FWCC.

In this case, this was a solution to the dog trying to spend the day burrowed under Eva's shirt while Eva was trying to play in the very-much-unheated front hallway. The dog wasn't positioned the same way as the baby, but the same way we'd normally carry a dog or cat that size who wanted to be carried. It was just a slightly more secure way to carry her around than simply tucking Eva's shirt into her pants.

This dog really, really likes to be in people's laps.

Ah well, if it's what the dog wants, "de gustibus est non disputandem." My cat likes to be carried around in a shopping bag.

LOL, that's amazing, I think my cats would kill me.

I'm not sure if the dog was as thrilled once she got what she more or less wanted - I told Eva very firmly that any sign of wiggling or discontent and Moonpie had to go down, and after 20 minutes that's what happened and she ended up sitting on the couch in the living room with Jenn. (Hm. I should be more clear that excessive licking can be a sign of stress. I mean, that doesn't seem to have happened, but just in general she should know.)

I was amazed too, the first time - he'd gotten into the bag, and I picked it up, thinking he'd get right out, but instead he was, like "Oh, a cozy hammock, how nice." I've never known a cat that likes to be carried around so much - he wouldn't last 20 minutes though; more like five.
