conulyApparently, one day last week there were two overdoses at the St. George Ferry Terminal. Which is sad. And that editorial goes along fairly normally until the last paragraph:
And we've had the debate: Use naloxone to save overdose victims or let nature take its course? It's a different conversation when it's a friend or a loved one who's involved, but still the debate rages. Because there is no end to the drug scourge in sight.
THAT IS NOT A DEBATE. There is no debate here. What sort of amoral monster do you have to be to think that there is a debate here!?
Every once in a while I think "It might be good to be more on top of local news", and then the Advance reminds me why I don't bother. Never change, guys. Never change.
