Damn, wait, did I lose a day?

conulyWhy yes, yes I did. I spent the whole day thinking it was only Tuesday!
We are fully back in the swing of school. We did math. We did history. We discussed why nomadic pastoralists invaded settled areas 4,000 years ago, and why we have to guess instead of just googling the shit out of that. We compared their possible reasons then with modern day conflicts between herders and farmers. We did a heck of a lot of reading and spelling... and more reading, because I had a new kindle book to read and that doesn't make me a bad person. I was Setting a Good Example. I ordered a candy thermometer so we can move along in science.
And then after school was done I sat in my chair and had a sore throat. Ana was sick the past 4 days, and Jenn not much better, so I guess now it's my turn to feel awful. Bah.
