Well, first batch of teeth are out, and we're going in next week for the second batch

Fun times. Next time I'll have them take a tylenol as soon as they exit the exam room rather than waiting until we get home, that should help. Poor Ana was sobbing for half an hour, although once the painkiller kicked in she conceded that it probably wasn't as bad as her headache from hell. Geez, poor Ana. She sure does seem to suffer a lot. And she's really a trooper about it.

Right now they're engaging in the educational activity known as "watching as much Netflix as they like", which is probably what they'd be doing if they weren't homeschooled. Because extractions.

I had several teeth pulled as a kid, and my main memory is that, each time, I got those orange sherbet push ups.

When my daughter had immunizations, they told us to give her Tylenol or ibuprofen before the appointment, that that would make things easier. I don't know if that would hold true for having teeth out (I suspect ibuprofen wouldn't be good), but it might be worth asking about.

Well, ibuprofen is a blood thinner, but the effect is smaller (thank you, Dr. Google) than aspirin or acetaminophen.
