Her ears are filthy. Eva claims she saw the cat going into another home, but I'm pretty sure she's mistaken because of the filthy ears and also the fact that she's clearly recently lost a collar or had one removed. We have a few black and whites around right now, so that's probably it. I'll put up some signs, though, if I hear any more reports of this sort from the nieces, or give her a collar with a note just to check.

It's not a great pic, the sun was bright (duh) and anyway she was eating. Plus, I had just retrieved her from under a car where she bolted after the wind banged my indoor front door shut for the second time - I had both doors open so I couldn't lock myself out. So she was a little uninclined to be photogenic.
