We’ve all seen those letter grades affixed to the doors of our favorite restaurants. While I don’t give them a second look, I know people who are nervous to eat at restaurants that are anything but A’s. So I imagine, anecdotally, that they can affect business quite a bit.

After four of his classmates and his mother were all hit by cars while out biking or walking, 17-year-old Matthew Cutrone wrote a letter to his county legislators asking for safer roads. Suffolk County (NY) Legislator Thomas Barraga responded with a letter shared by Matthew's mother and posted below, stating that "no one who lives in our hamlet or for that matter in Suffolk County should ever ride a bicycle." The letter grades actually aren't posted in front of restaurants here. I had no clue that was a thing until I saw them in Kentucky. They still get graded, of course, you just have to look up the grades yourself (or ask at the restaurant) if you want to know.

Daniel used to raise rabbits for meat and fur. Maybe we should do that again... Chickens and rabbits. We have enough yard space for THEM!
