1. That is really adorable.
2. I wonder what the market is for that? I mean, if it is at all profitable there has to be a similar niche in NYC, right? I'm sure our various moose would enjoy going on a field trip sans kids for a change. (Less chance of getting lost!)

and a spa in the New Forest - serious bear restoration, quite apart from the champagne and deckchairs
Daft though it may sound, you live in an iconic city with photo opportunities for bears. That might just be worth doing the research.

Date: 2013-10-28 12:04 am (UTC)I can't imagine it not being profitable. People mail their stuffies with $35.00 to $55.00, which covers return postage and a DVD of photos of the tour - all one has to do is travel around and take cute pictures of them in scenic places; they don't need to be fed or entertained, and they can sleep in a laundry basket in the car. There's almost no overhead, so even if clients were few, each one would bring in a profit.
I bet some of the stuffies in those photos are actors, though, not real clients.

Date: 2013-10-29 04:00 pm (UTC)If enough people in cool places around the world started running stuffie-tours, pretty soon a stuffie could go on a world tour, being mailed from one 'tour guide' to the next. This lady in Japan ought to think about franchising, before somebody else does.
