conulyAna approximates 12,600 words, Eva 10,900 words. I remain steady at a zillion! (Okay, 39,500, but what are the odds I'm exaggerating*?)
(And now their vocabularies are slightly higher because I told them the more common words they didn't know. Interestingly, my insistence on etymology is paying off, they both tried to parse "reproach" as "like approach, but re- means maybe the other way, or again?" and "stead" as "Well, I know instead/steady!")
The people who run the site need more information from children and general non-readers, so a. make your kids do it and b. if you want to spread it around again, try sharing the link with those in your life who don't have their noses in books all the time :)
