The other day there was something dubious at the top of the stairs to the SIR

I'd gone up the other set of stairs and didn't need to worry about it, but I sat on a bench and watched people carefully, gingerly pick their way past. One of them lightly hiked up her skirt to do so, which wouldn't be so funny except that it was already knee-length.
