Blue Cross/Blue Shield want to stop covering anesthesiology drugs beyond a fixed amount of time during surgeries

I really was hoping solarbird was wrong. I mean, it sounds so fucked up it can't possibly be true, but it looks like it is.

Seriously, wtf.

So, somebody has been arrested

Judging from the comments, the rage has moved on from "medical bills are too high" to "everybody has at least one (1) murdered relative whose death was never properly investigated because they're not fabulously wealthy".

There's some overlap there, I'm sure.
