FFS, thunderstorms are continuing for several hours!?

I can't go out to do some necessary errands (scared of lightning) and poor Moonpie is about to shake out of her skin with all the thunder!

On the subject of less and fewer, by the way....

If you feel you absolutely must adhere to it, say, in the express lane of your store, because you don't want to deal with the world's most trivial (and, I'll say, tedious) complaints, I suggest you split the difference and don't use either word. Try "Up to ten items" instead. That makes everybody happy, except the woman with eleven.
