Jan. 27th, 2016 02:53 pmWe watched CNN Student News a while back and they did a little piece on a blind football player who had cancer as a very young child. When I saw the snapshot of him and his twin as babies I said to the girls "Oh, look, see how the light reflects white off that eye? That's the cancer already."
(Yeah, yeah, Connie, whatever you say....)
Today they were looking at the news at the diner, and there was a piece on a different kid whose cancer was caught by somebody glancing at a picture and seeing the eyes were white instead of red - "Wow, Connie, you were right!" Yes, girls, I usually am.
