I was expecting snow, but no, it's all sleety and slushy and messy and awful. I trudged though the slush to the strand anyway, and guess what I got for the low low price of only $3??
You can't guess, you can never guess! I got a copy of the Dictionary of American Regional English Volume 1, which even used goes for a minimum of $40, for only three dollars!!!!
The cashier stared at me as I told her I'd been wanting that since high school, but it really is the truth. It was SO worth it schlepping that thing home.
Maybe next week they'll have volumes 2 through... Whatever, I'm not sure if they end at four, five, or six.
