I'm making egg bagels today

Things learned:
1. If the recipe says that dividing it in eight will make regular bagels and in four will make jumbo bagels, believe it. They expand considerably in the boiling water.
2. If you started with eight, stick with eight. Combining the dough balls might work, or they might fall apart a bit in the water, and then what do you do?
3. Just boiled bagels with onion smell wonderfully like bialys. I should make those soon too....
4. I still can't run the heater and the oven at the same time.
