In other news, just yesterday I was expounding upon the pneumatic garbage system used by Disney World to my sister and complaining about the hassle of dragging the garbage out twice a week, every week. Ugh!

Little did I know that Roosevelt Island already has this system! It's like Forbes (and also Pat's Papers) is reading my mind!

If I ever get tasked with designing a utopia, this system is totally going to be part of it.

I can see so clearly what happened here. One of them vaguely remembered reading a book or TV show like this, and completely and totally forgot that every single book or TV show that has people wearing computers all the time is a dystopia.
