On the very same day I came across an article about a restaurant in I think New Zealand that's getting power from their toilets, but I lost the article.
Still, I was able to find some information about toilet powered turbines, for your reading pleasure.
In other news, just yesterday I was expounding upon the pneumatic garbage system used by Disney World to my sister and complaining about the hassle of dragging the garbage out twice a week, every week. Ugh!
Little did I know that Roosevelt Island already has this system! It's like Forbes (and also Pat's Papers) is reading my mind!
If I ever get tasked with designing a utopia, this system is totally going to be part of it.
