Today was Evangeline's swimming lesson!

I was very annoyed to discover that the best slot for her class conflicts with the promised tennis lessons, but so it goes. Swimming lessons for Evangeline are more important than tennis for Ana - and Ana is already having swimming three times a week to her sister's twice a week anyway. I wish they could be together, but they're in different age groups.

Evangeline sulked pretty much the whole time, and flat-out REFUSED to have fun, because her sister wasn't in the pool with her. On the way home I told her to suck it up. Swimming is not an option, and she'll be going at the minimum until this session is over in three weeks, so I don't want to hear it.

Ana, by contrast, LOVED her swimming lesson yesterday, and is eagerly looking forward to tomorrow's lesson. I just hope she learns something :)
