Kotatsu?

How is it I never heard of these before? Why don't we have them in the US?

(Well, this guy thinks that kotatsu exist because the Japanese can't be bothered to insulate their homes properly, which could be true, I don't know. But still. I still want one!

You like Sandra Boynton, right? Well, I like Sandra Boynton! (By the way - board books by Boynton are the *best* gifts ever for people with very young children. TRUST ME. Snuggle Puppy is great for a baby shower or first birthday or first mother's day gift (the last might be paired with something else, of course.)

Buuuuuuuuuuuut... all those board books. Tsk. They're so bulky!

So I had an idea. She should totally compile some of the best board books (they're all the best board books) into a hardcover book. Because I'd totally buy that. For... uh... the nieces.
