I forgot the "best" part of yesterday.

I was locked out. Here I am with a mostly naked baby (she had on a jacket and a pair of tights. The jacket was fine, but the tights were not) and a four year old, and the baby is sick, and it's snowing, of all things, and my key isn't coming for another 10 minutes.

So I had to break in through one half of my basement window. I'm glad I fit - plan B was to send Angelique in to open the back door. Instead, I came in and hoisted the kids through after me.

It really wasn't a fun day.

I'm not sure if I'm offended even on my own behalf (I think I'd know if I were kidnapped or living a life of total social isolation) or on the behalf of people who actually have had their kids taken.
