Yesterday, we made apple pies

The filling had been ready since Thanksgiving, but the piecrusts had to be made and it all had to be baked. And as I'm making the dough for the piecrusts, I had it in three balls, one slightly larger than the other. It was a double recipe, so it was easier to mix it together separately than altogether at once.

Ana's really cute - she leans over, looks into the bowl, and goes "Look! It's a family - there's me, and my sister, and Mama!"

I mean, really. Can she get any cuter?
