Well, at least now I know why Nathan dislikes flying so much.

And Hiro is really cute. His coworkers are some of the most unobservant people on the planet. They're SPECIAL!!!!

Now, did Charlie die from Sylar, or from an aneurysm?

How did Sylar get his first power, then? How'd he change his brain?

I'm soooo confused.

1) Charlie: I think how she eventually died (in whichever path you choose to take) is immaterial as much as the point being that she was going to die no matter what Hiro were to do. My money is still on Sylar as the actual cause.

2) Sylar: His first 'power' was the genetic abnormality that led Dr. Suresh to him. He had a brain that "could see things that were broken" but didn't know how to use that power.

Ditto, on both counts, except I'm thinking that what we were left with most recently as Charlie's death was the aneurysm. Somehow the shrine the have set up seems to not be very brutal death-like. Of course others may say just the opposite, so...

Hmm... Well, it's possible she didn't tell anyone but Hiro.

I agree. I mean, when Hiro left, all the bajillions of police officers stopped swarming around, didn't they? I can see putting up a shrine at her job if she was really loved.

Charlie...you know that really made me cry. I do love Hiro something horrid, however. And Future Hiro...SO AWESOME!

As for Sylar, Josh and I have theories.

He was a clockmaker, right? Which means he's very good at seeing which parts go where. I almost wonder if he didn't modify himself somehow. Eat the guy or something.

The other theory we have is that he's something like the other character...I can't remember his name. The politician's brother. I call him Cutey McHotPants. Well anyway, Cutey McHotPants works pretty much like Rogue, near as I can tell. I wonder if Sylar works the same way, but he's got to kill you. If he kills you, he can absorb your power. I mean, he's rollin' pretty tough. Telekenisis, super strenght, head explody.

i was wondering if Sylar TAKES other's powers (by killing them and somehow gaining it that way), or if he is able to look into their brain like an MRI or CT scan or whatever and SEE which parts of their brain the power uses, and make the adaptation himself. but then i guess he wouldn't haveto kill each person. but he probably doesn't have to kill them as brutally as he does anyway, so... hmm. haven't thought this one out fully.

Yeah, I think he's definately got to be in some kind of contact with them to get the power.

Now, whether he kills them because he's a roaming freakazoid or because that's his power...here's hoping next week clears it up.

p.s. am I the only one who thinks that saving the cheerleader was a little too easy?

yeah, too easy and completely predictable. once you found out whats-his-face (peter?) is headed out there, you know he will absorb her powers... plus, it seems like she didn't really NEED saving at all.

are we sure it was sylar who killed the OTHER cheerleader girl? i can't remember. cause, you'd think he could just look in her brain and know she wasn't the right one and not waste time on her. or did he just kill her cause she was in the way?
