Instructive conversation
Jul. 16th, 2006 11:04 am( Wherein Ana remembers that No can mean Yes )
( Wherein Jenn does not, in fact, chase her daughter )
Ye gods, what are we teaching this child?
Taught the baby how to play fetch, that was fun. Fetch, baby! Fetch the doll! Good girl!

By now they've become repetitive, but it's the good kind of repetitive, where I agree with what's being said.
Saw some amazing virulence towards people with disabilities, and autistics in general in a post about the most recent murder yesterday. Would link to it, but I feel that's unfair towards the OP, so... not gonna. Pity, though - I haven't the energy to yell at the person in question myself.
I hope I'm not being too repetitive with all these links - comment if you mind, though that probably will not stop me from posting them.

It was, what, two days ago? Three?
Jul. 16th, 2006 11:58 amWhen I made that post about overdefensive replies to anything that is even remotely on the same planet as "judging them"?
Voila! Exhibit A!
I'm not actually half as irritated as I sounded in my reply. Not at that, anyway. I'm more irritated at comments I can't, for the sake of my sanity, go back and reply to. Still, to be clear - I really don't think that most Christians honestly believe that Jesus is the answer for literally every question under the sun. Not even the ones who spout inanities like "Jesus is the answer" at you all the time.
