A pair of articles....

One on a (potentially?) transgendered five year old kid. The pronoun use is just painful. And I'll point out my caveat - they say that "studies have shown" (love that phrase) that most children grow out of identifying with the "wrong" gender. But have studies shown that this is because they actually grow out of this? Could be that they grow out of beating their heads against the majority of society shunning them and telling them they're crazywrong.

I'm just saying.

That was exhausting. I'll post another list later-later.

I'm starting to notice a basic pattern for signs with animals - there's a lot of them with various handshapes up at the top of your head, and a lot with various handshapes crossed at your shoulders. That'll either make them easy to remember, or hard.
