When we talk to or about Ana, sometimes we call her "somebody" as in "Gee, I think somebody needs a nap!" or "Does somebody need a diaper changed? Yeah, Ana, don't shake your head at me, I think you do."

Ana occasionally experiments with this form herself, usually getting it wrong, though I can't say why. "Somebody's syeeping!" when it's a person on the bus we don't know, like that.

And then on BSG, in That Episode I Don't Like, Roslin said that directly to Billy: "Somebody took his vitamins this morning!" (meaning him, of course). And that was right, but I don't know why.

It's so annoying. I don't get these things wrong, it's my own damn language, I certainly know how to speak it, how can I not know how to speak it? (This question is rhetorical, I don't want people telling me why I don't know how I know how to speak it, I know that, I just forget.)

It's still irritating. Somebody here isn't happy. (And that's all wrong, too - I'm not somebody like that, am I? It sounds wrong, but I can't prove it.) Stupid language.
