An article about American Girl Dolls.

Her talk at the end about the cemetary reminded me. The Trinity Church in Lower Manhattan runs a daycare. It's also attatched to a graveyard. Well, old churches often are. Nobody's been buried there in years, though.
And every day, around noon, the kids in the daycare apparently are taken out to play in the cemetary. Every day, I wonder that nobody seems to think this is the least bit odd.
I mean, it's a nice place to eat your lunch, but... *shrugs*

May. 14th, 2005 10:58 amSo, I'm talking to Jazzy about
50bookchallenge and similar communities. I wanted to know if it was wrong of me to want to join one of those so I could run through my 50 books in a couple of weeks. (Apparently, yes, it pisses them off.)
And then I realized something. Ana must surely have 50 books by now. If she doesn't, it's not going to be long before she does. I can increase her library in a couple of weeks, bring it up to 50.
I'd put it in one big post, but... *giggles* something in me tells me this would be funny, even if slightly puerile.
( Books I know she has )

May. 14th, 2005 11:16 amI was booted off of
anti_bush for disagreeing with the moderator, who is a very large hypocrite. I hope my rants about this country and the well being of our nation don\t get deleted as they did on the other site. I am a liberal and dislike Bushco and everything the righties stand for. I like my freedom and I will continue to fight to make things right. I was also booted because the moderator does not understand the Bill of Rights and said it doesn't apply on the internet. We are still in AMERICA and until the Repubs get their way, the Bill of Rights pertains to everything and anyone in this country.
When will people learn? The internet? Goes places other than the US! It even goes outside the continent on which we reside! And, on top of that, the Bill of Rights only prevents the government from doing shit to us. The internet? Is not the government.

Really. But... I don't know. It's always seemed a little arrogant, mihi, to attribute everything good to God. No, really. Instead of being humble (I couldn't've done it without His help!") it sounds more like "God took the time to help me. I'm very special because of this. If you aren't being helped by God, it's because there's something wrong with you".
And something else. If God is running around stopping people from smoking and tanning and eating too much, why isn't he also stopping them from being hateful, robbing the poor, and killing each other? Or aren't those important enough to merit God's personal interference?
