I like picture books. I really do. I like the pictures, I like the stories, I like the fact that some of them manage to be quite subversive.

I need to start a picture book library for me. Forget the babies, I want picture books of my own! *sucks thumb defiantly*

Well, the styles contest is over.

The one I really liked (newsworthy) didn't win. Drat. Oh well. I wasn't planning to change my journal anyway.

Kittens are at the vet and doing well (last I checked)

Vet's got 'em, will find homes for 'em, that's their stated policy (yay research?). Which is good, because otherwise that would be my job, and I'm not good at that.

I feel bad. If I'd had money for food and litter boxen, I would have rather have kept them, but... *sighs*
