So, LJ is having a style contest...
Mar. 28th, 2005 05:58 pmI can't enter, due to my complete lack of artistic or styles-y ability, but I thought some of you might like to know.
Xiggy, I got your letter today :)

Link stolen from everyone.
( It's true, you really *can't* make this stuff up! )
So, idea. Who wants to work with me to remove the teachings of that heretic Copernicus from our public schools? I mean, the Bible clearly states that the sun goes around the earth, right? As do the stars, of course. And we can see this every day, just by looking up!

Pondering, pondering.
Mar. 28th, 2005 10:43 pmA long time back, I asked why you couldn't buy seperate (separate? I hate that word) features without buying a full paid account, and got a nice, understandable answer about profit (basically, those features aren't worth enough for LJ to break even selling them alone).
Except now I'm thinking, what if they could be sold individually, but you had to buy a certain amount up front - maybe $5 or $10 dollars worth, however much that would be. Would this be possible and still profitable?
Hm. I might've asked that back then. If so, I completely forgot whatever I was told. Sorry.
