To be fair, I completely support the right of consenting adults to do whatever the fuck they want with their bodies. If you really want to cut off your labia, that's your own business. And if you really wish you'd been circumcised, and hate that foreskin, go ahead, get it chopped off. I support you.

But don't fuck with babies' private parts. You don't own them.

Causes I endorse/care about.

1. Anti-infant-circumcision. This is *routine* circumcision, mind. If there's an actual medical reason behind it, I support it. I also will not comment if people do this for religious reasons, provided that this is actually part of their religion.

2. Breastfeeding. And I'm never having kids, so this one's a bit weird.

3. Linguistic rights. Primarily, the right to not be told "the way you speak is wrong". I understand the various reasons behind a need for a standard dialect, but please. Just say "this way is more appropriate for this situation". Forget that right and wrong nonsense. (Unless somebody is actually wrong. It does happen)

4. Anti-Bush. BUSH SUCKS.

5. Pro-reproductive rights.

6. Pro-equality-of-all-sorts (racial, sexual, sexualorientational, whatever, equal is good)

7. Anti-death-penalty. Especially when it's being called upon by people who claim to be "pro-life". Liars.

8. Pro-helping-people-out. Yeah, if you're so pro-life, you should want to support this life once it's born as well. Abortion rates *rose* during Bush's term.

9. Anti-war. I don't like killing people.

10. Pro-Dudley-Fic. *coughs*

11. Autistic Advocacy. Technically, this goes under number 6, but I thought I'd give it a special mention. *special mention*

Three things you should know:

1. I like judging people. It's fun. I do refrain from judging people I know, or who ask me for advice, but if I'm speaking generally (this is good, this is bad), there's no holds barred. So I say "Conservatives are ruining the economy", and I get judgmental, I'm not talking about any actual conservatives. Just so you know. My life is more interesting when I have shadowy enemies. Edit: This means that you can't take any seemingly sweeping statement I make seriously. If it really is a sweeping statement, I don't mean it, and if it's not a sweeping statement, but you're reading it that way, I really don't mean it.

2. If people try to trap me in an argument (this hasn't happened for a while, but it does occasionally), I will quite willingly adopt a position I don't actually hold just to shut them up. So if they fall down that slippery slope and proudly tell me that I just advocated murder, well, yup, I'll go ahead and advocate murder. And if they set up a bizarre hypothetical that involves my principles telling my mom (before she had me) to abort me - yup, I'm aborted all right. Whee, there I am, a dead fetus.

3. I'm going to bed now. All threads involving my participation are put on hold, pending my, y'know, participation.
