So, I was at the store.

And there were four pennies on the counter. And I was bored. So, carefully, the four pennies were stood up on end. All four of them. And it was good.

UNTIL THE CASHIER SAW IT AND STARTED TOPPLING MY MASTERPIECE!

Well, we *were* going to do something...

But then Jenn realized it was about to rain, and thus cancel our scheduled outdoor activity. And she was right. It's pouring out there. And do you know why?

Because Florida is having a hurricane, or something, and we always get their weather.

*grumbles* Stupid Florida. It's too early for this sort of weather!

Oh well. I like the rain, even if I don't like cancellations. It makes a nice noise, and it's fun to splash in puddles.

Buoyed by the success of book_icons

I think I'd like to recreate the now defunct (and never very active) comm for comic icons. I'm everlastingly seeing people posting sinfest icons (and others) in other icon comms, there's a calling for it... and running communities seems to be very simple. Plus, it gives me a feeling of power. Yes, I'm quite diabolical like that.

But I thought I'd check and see what other people think. IS there a need?

Okay. It's got a bit of a sucky name, _comic_icons_, but it's good.

Feel free to spam your OWN journals about this, and to pop up where people post icons based in any way on comics to say "hey, you know where else you could put that...". But don't spam anybody but yourself.
