God I love that game. I *finally* got past the water world. I had some sort of block on level 8. I ended up having to go back to the last boss, get a cloud, and then start over and skip 3-8. *sighs*

Still, now I'm in world 6. Ice! *hums the real mario theme song*

We're going over Kant's theory on ethics, and how it compares to utilitarianism. They're supposed to be similar in that they both attempt to describe the key moral principle. This leads to a reminder that some ethical theories say that there IS no key moral principle (but we're not covering those theories). Up pipes our friend:

But there IS a key moral principle! Don't do bad things!

Thank you, Captain Obvious! Clearly, philosophers were just wasting their time trying to define morality. They should've just gone with the "not doing bad things" definition and left it at that. Of course.

But I can't let the government terrorists win.

A joke about how various people prove that all odd numbers are prime.

I'd find it funnier if they didn't all start out listing 1 as a prime number. ONE ISN'T A PRIME NUMBER. It's a freak.

So, which is worse, do you think?

Here's something really scary. I don't think things are going to get better if Bush isn't (re)elected. When did you ever hear of anybody, least of all the government, willingly giving up power? What's going to happen is everybody'd talk about how wonderful civil liberties are, and how terrible the trend NOW was (before the election in the future... are you following?)... and nothing is ever going to change.
