I'm not going to beat too far around the bush here. A vote for Romney is a vote for insanity and evil. If you're doing it, don't let me know.
If you are in NY or NJ and have been displaced you can cast a provisional ballot at any polling place. If you can get to your own polling place that is best, but if you cannot, this is an option. Tell anybody you know who is worried about this... even if they are voting for the other guy.

Date: 2012-11-06 07:08 pm (UTC)I can't tell you how refreshing this is. I seem to be surrounded (online, anyway) by zealots who are JUST FINE with voter disenfranchisement as long as the ones who lose the chance to vote were voting for the OTHER GUY.
That's not the way it works. You don't get to disallow votes just because they disagree with you! ARGH WHARRGARBL.

Date: 2012-11-06 09:44 pm (UTC)I had an infuriating conversation on FB with a Twoo Believer (D side) who was squawking that voting machines in Pennsylvania that registered an Obama vote as one for Romney were proof of R double-dealing and fraud... Okay, fine, looks like it to me. I pointed out that in Ohio some voting machnes were doing the opposite (a vote for Romney registered as Obama) and joked that maybe all the chicanery would balance out. He actually said the R bureaucracy in Ohio was rigging the machines AGAINST THEMSELVES. o.O
Because apparently D believers are all painted plaster saints who would NEVER do anything wrong. Makes me want to hurl.
