Date: 2004-05-21 10:49 pm (UTC)PDD is the inclusive blanket term for autistic spectrum disorders. PDD-NOS (pervasive developmental disorder - not otherwise specified) is, as near as I can tell, the nice way of saying "you're autistic, but we can't tell you whether you're Asperger's or HFA or classic autism". Assuming you believe those categories to be valid, of course.
