Sadly, we don't even get past the first page on the comments before some lackwit takes umbrage at the fact that they dared quote a member of a same-sex couple for the article.

Why does boston.com have to constantly and subversely push the gay agenda?

For crying out loud, what was boston.com supposed to do, not interview folks off the street?

On the plus side (and it is a plus side) there's only one such comment.

I am amused that getting married can look like a subversive act to these people. (I can't marry my girlfriend, of course, but they would really think we're subversive, if our existence didn't just make their heads explode.)
