Funny, most of the people who go on about "True Christians" are the hateful type. It's stupid, really, but people do it. I've never understood the reasoning of those who put the old testament before the new and call themselves Christian anyway....

Hah, they're closer to being Pharisees (see how they take THAT statement!).

The only parts of the Old Testament I regard more highly than parts of the New are the Ten Commandments and the book of Isaiah.

"Christian" literally means "follower of Christ". I don't recall Him EVER being violent or hateful, even toward those who persecuted and tortured Him. He was the epitome of love, logic in faith, blunt honesty when needed, and mercy.
