I don't think anybody I know is in New Zealand, but if I'm wrong I hope you're all right (and, generally, that the damage and loss of life is minimal and doesn't get any worse than it already is.)

I have family down there, but they're all ok. I'm always amazed at how powerful natural disasters can be.
