Date: 2010-12-21 12:47 am (UTC)LOL, as a child my own girlie was always getting awakened and bundled up and hauled outdoors in the middle of the night to look at eclipses, comets, meteor showers, planetary conjunctions, the Northern lights, the rings of Saturn or whatever. I also woke her up to see Stephen Hawking on the "100 most influential people of the 20th century" program on New Years' Eve of 2000, and Leonardo da Vinci building a flying machine on Star Trek: Voyager, and other interesting nocturnal happenings. It's good for kids to have some night adventures, especially when they don't have school in the morning.
The Moon's up here, but only showing as a bright patch behind the clouds; I hope it clears before Showtime. Good luck with your viewing; have fun!
