We found half a robin's egg today!

Right on the ground under the mulberry tree, the one the mourning doves congregate under. (This is opposed to the mulberry tree the sparrows like, and the white mulberry tree, of course.)
So I picked up to give to Evangeline's teacher. How lucky, because Friday is show-and-tell!
What's very strange is that I'm still somewhat shaky on the idea of recognizing robins by seeing them, but I knew the egg right away. The color helped, of course (who hasn't heard of robin's egg blue?), but the size shouldn't've. Tiny little thing!
