Let me put it this way. We've taken to quoting these books in daily interactions, much like one would quote The Princess Bride or random Monty Python.
Me (when Ana is frustrated with homework): Ana, doing homework is not easy. It takes skill. It takes practice. It takes skill AND practice. It took me a long time to learn how to do homework. A VERY LONG TIME. Do you understand what I am saying?
Ana: *giggles* Yes, Connie.
Me (when Ana is asking to do something she can't do): No. You will not do that. You will not do that today. You will not do that tomorrow. YOU WILL NEVER DO THAT!
Ana: OMG! STOP TALKING LIKE ELEPHANT AND PIGGIE!!!!!
Well, you get the gist. I LOVE THESE BOOKS OMG SO MUCH!
