The whole issue reminds me of a (very) young friend I have, Elise. She's 10, and one day I met her friend... um... Let's call her Sara. Sara took the stand that lesbians are icky because "sometimes they kiss... with their tongues!" It was really all I could do to keep a straight face, because I was NOT going to be a sex-ed teacher for a pair of fifth-graders. Adults making anti-gay arguments, are the same way... those that aren't based on presumed Biblical injunctions (true or not, they do NOT have any basis in a secular government) are based on the ick-factor. You don't do this, so you think it's icky.

Without going into details, I have two replies. 1. All sex is really pretty icky. I mean think about it. NOT LIKE THAT. See what I mean? 2. Gay people really don't do anything in bed that straight people don't/can't do. Least, not as far as I know. If anybody knows different, please, enlighten me.

True... but what's the kick in that? Just try convincing a straight man to have a threesome with a man and a woman, even though the men would not have to touch, it might still prove difficult. Women are a lot more easy going in that regard than men.

Yeah, but then you get into the idea that bisexual women are just really really horny, loose, easy, STD ridden whores.

Yeah, if one really wants to be prejudiced... one can take that approach. I would not do that myself, since it is simply not right. Some may be, but then again, some women that are het can also be that way, so it has not got anything to do with sexual preference, more or less the way you practice your sex. But to group sex there are several drawbacks, first one being STDs, second one, finding people that you can trust, third one, liking the people you can trust, and so on. So yeah... for those that want to have sex with more than one person, it might become a little hard.

I don't think that way either, I am just saying that that is the stigma society has towards bisexual women.

*was playing devil's advocate ... badly*

Yes, I figured, you would probably have sounded a lot more self righteous if you really were on that opinion.

Woo hoo! Threesome, foursome, MASS BISEXUAL ORGY!!!

Sorry.....had to do that....now the serious response.
My friends and I have noticed that the worst homophobes tend to be gay themselves. So maybe it is what the column said.....the reason why they hate us being about freedom......
And as to what gay people can do that straight people can't...........i don't know....
