Evangeline was napping, and I had my computer open to check the weather. Ana looked at my Dr. Horrible background and asked about it, and I said yeah, that I "think he's kinda hot".

Ana: You think he's... cool?
Me: Well, yes, but no, I think he's hot. You know, I like how he looks.
Ana: You... want him to be your boyfriend?
Me: Well, that's sorta what it means, I guess, but no, he doesn't know me.
Ana: Well, you could write to him
Me: No, honey...
Ana: and you could tell him
Me: No, honey.
Ana: and you could ask him to be your-
Me: No! *laughing* It doesn't work that way, and I don't want to go out with him or anything anyway. Besides*, I think he already has a boyfriend.
Ana: A girlfriend.
Me: No, a boyfriend, like a guy he's in love with. They might even be married** or something, I don't know.
Ana: Boys can't marry boys.
Me: Well, they can act like they're married, and there are more and more places that let them get married, which I think is a good thing.
Ana: No they can't.
Me: Yeah they can't.
Ana: Uh-uh.
Me: Uh-huh.
Ana: Uh-
Me: Ana, seriously, you'll get it when you're a grown-up.
Ana: Girls can marry girls.
Me: That's right!
Ana: And boys can marry girls.
Me: That's right again.
Ana: BUT BOYS CAN'T MARRY BOYS!
Me: *headdesk*

Well, she'll get there eventually.
