I was expecting to scoff a bit at the pictures, given the blurb, but those houses are amazing. I wish he'd build me one! I was amazed by this, though:
"To Mr. Phillips’s disappointment, half of the homes he has built have been lost to foreclosure — the payments ranged from $99 to $300 a month."
I presume at that point, the only option is to go back to rentals, but can you genuinely rent for $99/month? Even the social housing here is the equivalent of $420 a month.
