We went to The Playground With No Safety Features Whatsoever today.

Man, do the girls ever love that playground. "Let's go to the playground with the big slide!" they say. In vain do I point out that there's nothing to that playground BUT a big slide.

They got together with three other kids and kept making trains down the slide together. One of the kids' moms was taking pictures, so rather than take my own I asked her to send one to me, and she did!



You can just see the girls' yellow dresses. They kept throwing up their hands and laughing and screaming to beat the band, like on any roller coaster.

A properly big slide provides neverending amusement, so you don't need any other equipment ;)

What an awesome slide! Sam would love that. He is utterly fearless when it comes to slides, but refuses to go on a swing.

There aren't many swings around that park, as it happens - and the only "big kid" swings are actually in an area separate from the playgrounds proper, presumably so adults can go on them without having kids trailing them.

Anyway, same deal I made sayga. If you ever pop up for a visit, I'll take you on a playground tour.

Wow, that slide looks so fun! Eva is the second one from the back? She looks so small!

It is! The only thing wrong with it is that it's just a wee bit too narrow for my hips. The one in the Billy Johnson Playground is wide-wide and better for that.
