I love my mom

I really do. I hate that she can't be happy a whole day without picking some fight with somebody, over something reasonable or not, but I love her.

Of course, she did tell me too put too much butter in this apple stuff. I should've chopped up some more apples (or made her chop them, my cutting skills still need work). Still, it's good.

Apple Stuff

About half a pound of butter
Several apples, tart. Several means about three pounds, in my estimation. THey should be sliced and partially peeled
Half a bag of brown sugar
Some white sugar
Lots of cinnamon
Little bit of nutmeg

Melt the butter in a skillet on a LOW heat
Add the sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg, stirring it so it's all melted
Add as many apples as you can fit and stir
Wait for the apples to kinda shrink, while still stirring, this is on the lowest heat setting
Add more apples, repeat.
Let simmer awhile
Pour over vanilla ice cream and forget what this is doing to your arteries.
Eat.

Best stuff in the world, even better than my heart-attack mac 'n cheese.
