Eschewing prescriptivist linguistics as the tool of the oppressor might be a bit pompous, but it's amazing how cool it sounds when you get to say it four times in a month (and counting). And what's funny, of course, is that I speak nearly-perfect Standard American English. I can't help it, I was brainwashed at a very young age.

Still, I'm just posting to say I'm cool. Because I've got a slogan that just sounds better every time I say that. And to the person I just said it to, I use any excuse to use that sentence, it's nothing personal :)
