*gigglesnorts* I have GOT to try this. And I do have a question. Why do we segregate our bathrooms? It's not as though we're sitting out in the open, everything is in a stall, and the things that aren't (urinals) should be.

You know I've always wondered that too. And I also wonder if they segregate them in all countries.

I don't know why we do seperate bathrooms, but I have been to places where they haven't. Up until a few months ago, my boyfriend's workplace (a school IT department) was not seperated into male and female. And the urinals still were not in stalls.

This brings back some very fond memories of WorldCon in the bay area a few years back. (Two or three, I think.) The hotel staff had put signs on doors that they didn't want opened that said "This is not a door." It went silly from there. XD *chuckles at the memory*

Good question though. But if we didn't segregate bathrooms, then where would the elementary school tradition of sneaking into the opposite bathroom be?

Oh yeah. It was big trouble if you got caught at my school. So of course everyone had to do it. We had stalls with doors though. Bright sky blue in the boys, sickly pink in the girls.

We had the pair thing too, if I remember correctly. I never knew why.

Ah... makes sense in theory... but all it ever did for me was let me get in trouble with someone else.

When I was involved in Mock Trial, we went to this courthouse, and if you've never been in a courthouse, the bathrooms are terrible. Anyway, the girls on my team were all crowding around the door waiting to get in, and a girl from another team walked up. She saw all of us, looked at the men's bathroom (which was vacant), said "Hey, we're all human anyway" and walked in. Everyone thought it was so weird, but I thought it was funny :) both bathrooms were equally disgusting anyway.

I don't know, quite honestly.

But imagine the scandal if men and women had to excrete in the same room! THE HORROR. Honestly, if you put food in one end while in the presence of the opposite sex...

this coming outta the girl going to an all women's college.

*amused* That's great!

My sister gets mistaken for a guy a lot. One time, a guy coming out of the men's room as she approached the restrooms held the door open for her. He gave her a very weird look when she went into the women's restroom. I think I shall have to send her this link.
